Urtearen egunik zakarrenean, justu ordu bat aurreratzen digutenean, Hauñamendietako nahaste-borraste batentzat, Piririder nahaste borraste talde bat baino ezer hobe ez dago. Caillou de Soques gure elkargune bilakatzen da, bertatik Dent du Soques leporantz Mikel, Oihana, Monika, Alfonso, Garreta, Ibantxo, Ion eta ni abiatzen garenean, bapatean Mikel(2) eta Edu, Iruña zaharretik, taldera batzen dira. Soquesen gure oinatza utziko dugulakoan.

En el dia más duro del año, justo el siguiente de adelantar la hora. Que mejor manera de compensarlo, que juntando un surtido de Piririders para un surtido pirinaico. In the hardest day of the year, the one after putting the clock forward. The best way to balance it, is to join a real Piririder selection for a real Pyrenees snow selection. Appointment with life in Caillou du Soques, from where Mikel, Oihana, Monika, Alfonso, Garreta, Ibantxo, Ion and me, depart to the pass of Dent du Soques, before Mikel(2) and Edu, from the ancient Iruñea join us. Ahora, se cumple el segundo aniversario de la llegada de Räi a nuestra manada. Cuando llegó, era un saco de huesos lleno de inseguridad y miedo. Él es el vivo ejemplo de supervivencia y resurreción.

Pero, en seguida pudo comprobar que con nosotros estaría seguro. Cuando en los primeros días un Bóxer se le abalanzó de manera hostíl, siendo placado contundentemente por Khamûl.

But soon, he could check he would be safe with us when on the very first days a Boxer jumped on him unfriendly and the dog was heavily tackled by Khamûl.

Gure betiko helburuetako bat zen. Eta azkenik, bere txanda iritsi da.

Era uno de nuestros objetivos de siempre. Y por fín le llegó su turno.

Bere itxura bakarti ta kolosalagatik, 3000 metrotara iritsi ez arren, Lurien mendia, behin aurrean daukazula, gure adimena harrapatzen duenetarikoa da.

Por su silueta solitaria y colosal, a pesar de no llegar a los 3000 metros, el pico Lurien, es una de aquellas montañas que cautiva la vista una vez la tienes enfrente.

Because of its solitary silhouette and despite it doesn't reach 3000 meters, peak of Lurien, is one of this mountains which takes your eyesight prisoner once you see it.

Gaur ez gara goiz jeikitzen, eguzkiak bere lana egiteko denbora behar bait du. Fabreges lakutik 1240m, irtetzen gara.

Northfaces of the mountains have been sweeped incessantly by the wind during the winter, turning them into ice slabs, mixed with compressed snow.

Azkeneko harrizko hesiaren azpian eskiak usten ditugu. Gaur Lurien ez ditu baldintza egokiegiak.

Los esquíes los dejamos justo debajo de la última barrera rocosa. Hoy el Lurien no reune unas condiciones muy buenas.

We let skis just under the last rock barrier. Today, Lurien hasn't the best conditions.
