BTT Irati 1 - Abodi

 Irati lur-eremu zabala da (17.195 Ha). Balio natural eta ekologiko handikoa da; izan ere, bertan dago Europako izeidi-pagadirik handienetako bat. BTT ibilbide hau, Tapla lepotik Irabia uharkara jeisten duen errepideko 5.kilometroan dagoen aparkalekutik hasten da. Irati ohianan zehar Ollokia-Pikatua lepora (Abodiko aduana) doan mendipista jarraituz, 16km. Bertatik Las Alforjas pasagunera doan bidea hartzen dugu, Abodi mendizerraren gainetik doan bide eroso batetik, 8km. Las Alforjas pasagunea heldu ostean Iratiko etxeetara doan bide liluragarria hartzen dugu, GRT 9, hasierako pista gurutzatu arte, ondoren abiapuntura itzuliz, 4km.

La Selva de Irati es un extenso territorio, (17.195 Ha). Con un gran valor natural y ecológico, es considerado como uno de los mayores hayedo- abetales de Europa. Este recorrido BTT, comienza en el aparcamiento que hay a mano derecha a 5 kms del paso de Tapla, bajando hacia el embalse de Irabia. Ahí comienza una pista que atraviesa el fondo de la selva de Irati hacía el collado de Ollokia-Pikatua (Aduana de Abodi), 16km. Allí cogemos el camino que va al paso de las Alforjas, a lomos de la sierra de Abodi, 8km. Una vez allí descendemos através del GRT 9 hacia las casas de Irati, hasta que nos cruzamos con la pista del principio, volviendo al punto de partida, 4km.

Irati forest, is an extense territory, (17195Ha). With a great natural and ecologic value, it's considered one of the biggest beechwood-firwood of Europe. This BTT track begins in the parking, of the right side, in the fifth kilometer in the descending from Tapla pass to Irabia dam. There's a mountain-track that goes trough the Irati forest to the pass of Ollokia-Pikatua, 16km. There, we follow the track to the pass of Las Alforjas, over the Abodi mountain, 8km. Once we get there, we descent, following GRT 9, to the houses of Irati, until we cross the mountain-track of the beginning, going back to the departure, 4km.

Ollokia lepoa ta Las Alforjas pasagune bitarteko ibilbidea, bide oso erosoa ta nahiko lasaia da. 1350m-1500m bitartean.
 
El tramo entre el collado de Ollokia y el paso de las Alforjas, es un camino cómodo bastante relajado, entre 1350 metros y 1500metros de altura.

The stretch between Ollokia pass and Las Alforjas pass, is and easy and relaxed track, which goes trough 1350-1500 meters of height.

 A partir del paso de las Alforjas toca descenso, mágico y fácil, hacia las casas de Irati.

From Las Alforjas pass starts the easy and magical descent, to the houses of Irati.
