Okabe-Errozate

Gaurkoan Iparraldeko Behe Nafarroan ibili gara. Iruñeatik Donibane Garazira doan errepidea hartu eta behin Donibanen gaudela, eskuinera Ezterenzubiruntz goaz, Ezterengibeleko ibar sakonean sartuz, bere erreliebe menditsu bitxiak eta aldapa malkartsuengatik begi bista liluratuz, Irauko leporaino, 1008m.

En la baja navarra del pais vasco francés, nos hemos adentrado esta vez. De Pamplona nos dirigimos a Donibane Garazi-St Jean Pied de Port, una vez llegamos torcemos a la derecha hacia la región del Alto-Ezterengibel, con sus extravagantes montañas de conglomerados, de relieve uniforme, pasando por Ezterenzubi, hacia el collado de Irau en Irati, 1008m.

This time, we have met Low Navarre in french Basque country. Going from Pamplona-Iruñea-Pampelune to. Donibane Garazi-St Jean Pied de Port. Once we arrive, we turn rigth first exit to the Ezterengibel valley, with its fancy mountains and its uniform relief, going through Ezterenzubi to the pass of Irau in Irati, 1008m.


                1 Okabe

Egunsentia. Okabe mendiko gailurrearen inguruan dauden Harrespilak ikusteko bidean.

Al alba. Nos dirigimos a los Círculos megalíticos que yacen en las inmediaciones de la cima de Okabe.

At dawn. In our way to the surroundings of the top of Okabe, where some cromlechs lie.

       Hilarrita. 
             Räi aintzinako arbasoen gainetik aske lasterka egiten.                  

                             Räi corriendo libre sobre vestigios antiguos.

                                                      Räi running free over ancient vestiges.

Hilerriak bezala erabiliak eta elkargune bezala ere bai. Pirinietakoak txikiagoak dira ta lepoetan zein gailur borobiletan aurki daitezke.

Necrópolis prehistóricas, utilizadas también como lugares de reunión. En los pirineos son más pequeños y se pueden encontrar en collados y cimas redondeadas.

Prehistoric Necropolis, also used as a meeting place. In Pyrenees are smaller and you can find them in mountain passes and hills.

 Khamûl lehen eguzki izpien agerpenarekin zeharo pozik.

 Khamûl completamente feliz con la llegada de los primeros rayos de sol.

 Khamûl completely happy with arrival of the first sunlights.



                      2 Irau

Irauko tontorra, 1152m, Okabeko aldapetatik, Irauko lepoa bitartean Okaberen itzalagatik eztalita dagoelarik.
 
El pico de Irau, 1152m, desde las faldas del Okabe, con el collado de Irau de por medio, oculto bajo la sombra de Okabe.

        3.Errozate

Irauko lepotik Errozateko lepora abiatzen gara, 1076m, bertan oinez Harpeako sakanean sartzen gara, larre oso aldapatsu barrenean. Beti bide bat jarraituz.

Desde el collado de Irau nos dirigimos al collado de Errozate, 1076m, desde donde a pie descendemos a las gargantas de Errozate, através de unas laderas de hierba muy empinadas. Simpre por un camino.

From the pass of Irau we go to the pass of Errozate, 1076m, where a falling walkway starts to the gorges of Errozate through a steep slope of long grass.

                      Sakana honetan Errobi ibaiko iturburua dago.

                                       En estas gargantas nace el rio Errobi.

                          In this gorges, we can meet the source of the Errobi river.

Benetan ikaragarria bihurtzen da sakana honen izaera, behin sakonean gaudela aldapa handi ta eder hauen artean.

La magnitud de estas gargantas adquiere una tremenda impresión una vez nos movemos por el fondo, rodeados de sus inmensas cuestas empinadas.

The magnitude of the gorges is really awesome once we move in the deep surrounded by its great green slopes.

          Harpea 
        Sakanak izkutaturik daukan sorpresa...
                        Una sorpresa que nos aguarda en las gargantas.
                                          A big surprise awaits us through the gorges. 

Haize bortitzak darabilean, larre guztiak dantza ikaragarri adostatu bat eskeintzen digute.

Cuando sopla fuerte, las praderas nos ofrecen un baile acompasado.

When wild wind, grassland offers us a rhythmic dance.

              Errobi

  Pago bat bitan erdibanatuaren itxuran.

                                             Un haya aparentemente cortada por la mitad.
